Developed in the early 1990s the Airbus 330 is a very versatile aircraft that operates as a medium- and long-range airliner as well as serving as a freighter jet with an additional military mid-air refueling tanker variant available. A Northrop-Grum man derivative of the A330 tanker variant designated the KC-45 won a U.S. Air Force contract a rarity for a non-American built modern aircraft. While the contract was later canceled a number of militaries around the world use the A330 MRTT tanker an d transport version.The aircraft modeled here is the A330-300 a newer model introduced in 1993 that can carry anywhere between 295 and 440 passengers depending upon layout.
